Steering question
94 Ranger, 4.0 eng, manual 5 speed, 125,000 miles. Made a sharp left turn this morning and the truck felt like it wanted to keep going to left instead of "coming back" after the turn. The steering felt "strange" after I got it straight, kinda loose. Limped it to work and got under to see if anything was loose or broken, nothing obvious. As I pulled into parking lot I felt the steering pulse. About an hour or so later, I drove it around the parking lot, did some hard rights and lefts, everything "seems" ok. Could it have just been the belt slipping or something more serious? Belt is of unknown age. I'm going to replace it anyway. Anyone have some ideas?? Thanks to all.
