what should i do?
I am finishing up a system and i need a set of mid-range speakers its in a extended cab truck and the will be in the back, i have 2 3" and tweeters up front, amplified 2 tens in the back and also 2 4x6 in the back only off the deck. i am thinking either 2 6.5" components, or a set of 6x9's. Does a 6x9 have more bass (bigger area?) or is the oval shape adrawback and would 6.5's be better.

primarily this is going to depend on how much room you have behind your speakers in an application like this the 6x9 route wont be much help the tens should cancel the ovals bass signals out by sheer power alone,6.5/component speaks crossed over @ 125 mghtz should fill the mid to highs quite well.
