e4od starting to slip
i noticed my trans is starting to slip, usually when i put it in reverse when cold. it seems to go away when hot. it also slipped once when i was towing. is this the begining of the end ?or can i do something before it completely goes?...Fluid is fresh & full. trans is shiny like it was rebuilt lately. i also realize now these trans were junk. are there any real fixes?1990 f350 4x4. thanks steve

Go to ebay and get a video and rebuild it yourself. It looks easy enough and if not you can get a rebuilt one for less them $500 there. Or go to a good transmission place and have them look at it. Ed
