steering dampner missing?

I have a 2001 F-250 4X4 superduty. Did they all come from the factory with a steering dampner. Mine doesn't have one on it and I was wondering if it should. Thanks for any help.

The plow package has the damper, I think all the sd come with the bracket on the truck.

in 01 it came with the plow package, heavy service package,camper package and i think with the off road package .

Yup, my '99 250 SD "Off Road" came with one. I guess it still works?

My 2000 F250 don't have one either. Lets me know how you get on with your install Warbird and what differance in handling it makes. If its all good then I might fit one too.

I would highly recommend a steering stabilizer to anyone that doesn't have one. My truck didn't come with one and after the second large pothole I hit going 45-50 on a road with a slight curve in it, I ordered a Rancho one and wouldn't drive my truck without one now.

Make sure you order the one with the brackets that mount to the tie rod and not just the replacement shock.
