Flushing your A/C system?

I noticed on the bottle of a/c fluch that you are NOT supposed to flush the accumilator/dryer or the expansion system or the compressor..so what's the point?all that's left is the hoses...hmmm..any thought on this?

Just had the BII A/C replaced and they took all the components and hoses apart and flushed the appropriate pieces with two different chemicals so there wouldn't be any contaminants in the system when they put it back together and charged it. Since the original system was only fair at cooling during the hot summer months, we went with a larger dryer and a compressor designed for the Explorer and it works great. The air coming out of the new system is ice cold and will run you right out of the truck. We will see how it does this summer........
