2003 F250 Lariat CC 4wd. Has the "premium am/fm cassette, cd player." Looks just like the one on my Explorer. The Explorer stereo display always defaults to the clock after changing from fm to cd or cd to fm or whatever (i.e., if I hit the am/fm button it shows the channel then defaults back to TIME).
Well it doesn't do that in my 250. I don't care what track the cd is playing or what channel the radio is on. I want to glance over and see the time. Manual doesn't cover this.
My question is:
How can I get it to default to TIME display? Or does it not do this?
Tried every imaginable search word and combo and came up with as much as the manual supplied--nada.
I think you have to press the "CLK" button to toggle between station and clock mode...just one time. I have the same stereo and mine works like you want...
Thanks, TBL. I've tried that. It works one time. The next time I start the truck it's back to showing station or track. Sounds like it's defective. I'm still under warranty so I'll call dealer today.
