Walker Downpipe/Exhaust?

Question about the Walker downpipe. Does it bypass both of the cat's or only the first one? Also...I want to get my exhaust pretty much cut up. Would it sound terrible to put in the downpipe (either way both cats are going), then use some of the original piping to get the exhaust to dump out using the OEM pipe that originally goes behind the wheel and instead drop it out in front? Basically be eliminating the cats, muffler, resonator, and the hump over the rear axle. Would that be bad with relatively small pipes, or do I need a muffler in there somewhere?
