A/C running engine gets hot

I have a 1995 F150, when I turn on the A/C in a few minutes the thermostat will rise to the edge of NORMAL on the gauge. The fan also seems to slow down after about 5 minutes of running. What could this be.

Ditto the fan clutch. Had a 92 150 300/6 did the samething. replaced the clutch and it was fine.

I think I may have explained it wrong. The fan I mean is the blower for the a/c not the engine fan. The air coming out the vents starts fine but then seems to lose high air flow.
