I RECENTLY PURCHASED THIS93 IDI TURBO WITH 73K. I AM WONDERING IF THER IS ANYTHING IN PERTICULAR THAT SHOULD BE DONE ?
I AM ALSO WONDERING ABOUT TURNING UP THE FUEL ANY ADVICE OR EXPERIENCES WILL BE APPERCIATED.
Does this vehicle have a boost and/or pyrometer guages? You need these to properly set the turbo for the most performance. Depending on what elevation you live in is what presure you set the turbo. Please post additional information.
I have been looking into booth gauges and plan to purchase them soon along with an a pillar mount . Do you have any suggestios on brand or where to get them ? Thanks,Brian
If you have not already put 4" exhaust on this truck, DO IT!!! This and a K&N filter will help your power and milage without turning up the pump!!! Look into it, it helps.
I know all of you have heard this, but all the international engines seems to have a problem with cavitation errosion. You need to get an additive FW-16, Nalcool, etc.. And also get a good quality antifreeze, for example Cat long drain coolant, Detroit coolant ,and etc. Don't use any cheap crap.
