Ceramic Coating?
After looking through most of the posts here I didn't see much mention of ceramic coating of the exhaust systems. Specifically I was wondering if I should have the downpipe ceramic coated and what the benefits would be. Has anyone done this?

Ceramic coating will improve the efficiency of anything that gets hot, like the downpipe. It'll help it get the heat away from the turbine outlet better. I had my 1.0AR turbine housing ceramic coated, and the number I was quoted at the time was that it improved efficiency by 6-10%. I'm not sure if that number is accurate for the downpipe, but it's probably in the right ballpark.
