Hey folks- question for those in the know: I'm preparing to paint my '69 F-100, and I've really had my heart set on painting it Azure Blue, which is the color currently being offered on the Mustang Mach 1. Being a darker color, will this really enhance imperfections in the body of the truck? The truck is relatively straight, but there are some bondo patches, etc. Should I consider another color to paint the truck? What colors are best for not showing flaws? Thanks in advance for your tips and suggestions...
The darker the color the more a flaw will show, also the more gloss the eaiser a defect will show up. White is the least likely to show flaws, its always better to take your time and get the body work right. For some reason defects in body work are ten times worse after its painted!
