Question Sub's and Amp question

Hey everyone

Couple of questions for yall on my 2001 F-150 XLT exteneded cab. Im looking to put two 10's or 12's under my back rear bench seats. I still want to have the ability to use the rear bench seats when I need to. I know I can put 10's back there, but im wondering if 12's would fit. Second, I have the premium stereo system in my truck. I know it comes equipped with an amp, does anyone know what size amp ford puts in the trucks? im pretty sure it would push 10's and 12's fine. I've done it with a ford ranger using a stock system and got pretty decent results running two 10's. Just curious to what size the amp is. If its pretty decent, im not going to bother installing a stereo I bought for another truck I used to have, buying the harnesses and bypassing the factory amp and all that stuff. The stereo I bought for the other truck can put out a max 220. just wanna compare sizes. any comments/answers would be great :-)

Exclamation Bypassing the amp

By the way.. I've been looking around here a lot and most people have said just bypass the original factory amp. I've done work on installing systems before but haven't ever messed around with bypassing factory amps. anyone know what the easiest way to bypass the amp is and exactly where the amp is at in a 2001 F-150 XLT extended cab??? thanks

if you want to run subs directly from the head unit, try ultra linear subs. they are an off company of audiobahn and they sound really good.
