#4 plug

just got done reading racerguys post on changing plugs. great article. i do have to double check. it was my understanding the #4 plug is the one way back on drivers side. someone commented that it was the back on on passenger side. the ford mechanic told me it was the back plug on the drivers side. which one is it? tx

thats funny, thank u racer guy. the ford mechanic told me the #4 plug was on the drivers side back.

racerguy, i got a namebrand standard coil from bumper to bumper. is that ok or not. i wont use the autolite plug. thank for that info too. the guy told me ford makes them. lol

#4 is definately on the passenger side, as far as coils i bought mine from auto zone, it was a no name but it carried the same part# on it as the oem.

The Ford units are made by a company called Visteon. We mold some of the plastic components for them. Unfortunately, we don't make the finished product or I would be selling them myself and retiring soon
Visteon probably supplies the aftermarket too. The Wells shift position switch that I bought for my Windstar had the Ford part number stamped in it but was scratched out.
