Catalyic Converters
I was wandering if the 96 4.0 has dual cats underneath it back to back or is it a resonator and then a cat. I have thought they were both cats since they look the same but someone i know said that that may be a resonator then a cat. Just wandering.

Not sure about your car specifically, but in general most new cars have resonators to lower exhaust noise. And also in general, it goes.... header to cat to resonator to muffler to tail pipe.
