Nothing like a holiday weekend to finish up my audio install. Custom ported sub enclosure with Amp "wings." My goal was to get an audio setup using the factory head unit, have a custom sub enclosure, keep the back seat and metal grate in place, and have separate tweeters in the rear corners and front pillars. Mission Accomplished.
I removed the door sill protector (easy to pull up from either end) and made sure the electric seat wiring was not in the way. Used self tapping screws. Mine seem to mount eaiser with the lense end of the flashlight towards the rear of the truck. That way it was placed in the 'dimple' for the wiring harness for the power seats.
After we installed the dynamat in those areas it wasn't too hard to locate the holes from the installation.
