EX/EXPY VS. 4Runner/Sequoia
My sister purchased a 4Runner this weekend, and while I still prefer Ford, I was completely impressed with its ride and performance. Styling and interior finish work are top notch. The salesman kept telling me that the Toyota SUV's are outperforming Fords. Any opions out there...

Well, if you are ever going to use it as a sport utility vehicle, I know my '98 Expy has a 2,000lb payload capacity compared to a new 4wd Sequoia's 1,305lbs (1,400lbs 2wd). Heck, my '74 Jeep Cherokee has a payload of 1,465lbs, which is more than the new, larger 4Runner's, which is @ 1,215lbs. This is still more than the Sequoia's, and it is almost twice as large! 
It's nice to know that you have that capacity if you ever need to load it up and move stuff. This is where American vehicles shine over the flashy, reliable imports.
