I am looking into some options for wheel tubs. I am going to use some MT 29x15.50 Sportsman Pro tires on the back of my 56 and the stock fender isnt going to allow such a wide meat under it. I plan on cutting out the sides of the bed and getting some custom backspaced wheels, and probably some 3" wider fenders. I would like a stylish wheel tub, not the plain sheetmetal type used in most pro-street cars. I have seen the fiberglass tubs and they look allright but Id like to explore some more options if I can. Another one I am considering is some wheel tubs from a (gasp!) Chevy fleetside truck, these I like because they are bolt on and are stylish and large enough to house big meats and since they are old and classic they should look right in an old truck. Does Ford use any kind of removable wheel tubs? Maybe from the 57-66 era? I know the 67-current all have welded tubs and they arent very round or stylish. Any other aftermarket companies make good looking tubs? Thanks for any help.

Thanks for the links, sac-vintage sells the fiberglass ones, which arnt bad. I couldnt find any on Dennis Carpenter.
Joners- your tubs look good. I like them, Im just looking for something with more of a rounded contour. What suspension do you use? I have the No Limit Fat-Bar 4 link and my coilovers and links are on the outside of frame rails, so I cant get tires all the way up to the frame. The 3" wider fenders will take care of that though.
I installed a 95 T Bird IRS in my 56, Had to notch the bed for the upper suspension arm clearence. I used the tubs out of a 82 Ford PU. They have a little style so look good.
I will have a cover on the bed as the gas tank & all air suspension equip. will be in the bed so looks is not an issue but I was pleased with how they looked when I got them in.
How wide of a tub do you need? If only 3-4", look at the stock inner wheelwell from a 73-79 Stepside (53-79 longbed stepside also). It is steel, rounded and smooth and looks like it belongs there.
I was going to get the No Limit kit, it put the leafs under the frame, then I noticed this company thats in Canada, and it ended up being a LOT cheaper to buy from them. Although when I got the MacGyver kit, the brackets were on the outside of the frame, I just modified them and welded them under the frame.
