coil packs?
does anyone make high output coil packs for a 1997 4.6? what are some good wires for the 4.6 also?

I don't know of any "high output" coil packs. I don't think that you will find much better than stock. They are quite capable of firing most applications, including supercharging.

Motorcraft wires are about the best replacements out there.

MSD makes some.. I saw them in Jeg's... But if you need that much spark in a street truck, you should consider magnetos...
