I have a 1995 F150 4X4 5speed and after puting in new parking brake cables
I went to hookup the front cable to the rear cable and fond out I dont have
a tension equalizer just a C-shaped clip with 3-holes for the cables so do I
need a tension equalizer or not.
P.S I cant pull the cables far enough to hook them up.
I'm not real sure on this, but I Think you need to release the take-up in the rachet mechanism, that will allow the cable to extend enough to connect everything up.
