I have a 97 F150 4X4 with a 4.6 it has 49000 miles a k&n filter a throttle spacer and dyna max exhaust. it pings under load i checked the maf sencer its clean. i ran premium gas it still pings but not quiet as bad other then the pinging it runs like a champ. help!

 

Any codes? The 4.6L EGR passages are prone to collect carbon and restrict flow causing spark knock. DPFE, EGRVR OK?

change to a AWSF22C plug gapped at 0.054 and clean the motor up with some auto-rx treatment.
