Bucket Seats
We need to locate a set of wide bucket seats or "captain's chairs" (power) and a narrower console to replace the 40-20-40 seats (power) we now have in our 1999 Ford diesel 4X4 extended cab F250 pickup? Any ideas? We would prefer used or aftermarket.

Dont know where you can find new seats,but I agree the seats in my 2000 crew-cab are way to narrow.I weigh 185lbs, and my ##### hangs off the side of my 40-20-40. Dont know what the engineers were thinking on this one. I know the bucket seat up-grade on the 2001 XLTs are a lot more comfortable. Good Luck!!

Hi, try the junk yards, look for an older year or the same year with captains chairs installed also might want to check out broncos as they had them too most with captains chairs had a console in them and they would be real close to the color of your interior. John

Flexsteel makes bucket seats for your truck. You can get them in leather for around $1000.00 or cloth for around $800.00. I know of another place that deals in factory takeout seats and also custom made seats, I will post the website and phone number as soon as I can locate where I put the darn info. They are the largest dealer of seats in the U.S.
