Passenger door only opens from inside?
97 F150 SC 4x4
All of a sudden the passenger door will not open from the outside. It can only be opened from inside. What gives?
Any advicewould be appreciated!

Is there still resistance when you pull the outside door handle? If not, the connecting rod could have come off the handle or be too loose. You need to take off the door panel and check the mechanism, the connection rod had a plastic clip that in screws into and that can be adjusted. Hope that helps.
