2004 V10: how is it different?
First off thanks for all the help.
I have noticed that most aftermarket manufacturers do not offer performance mods for 2004 V10's. I understand it takes time to update websites and tweak parts, but Ive had my 2004 V10 now for 7 Months. I have done a side by side with a 99 V10 and they apear the same. What gives? I was just looking for an obvious answer on how the engines are different. If they are basically the same will aftermarket throttle bodies/ spacers/MAF/Intakes and the like fit my '04 ? The '05s will be available in a few months and the aftermarket does not seem to have caught up with the current industry. Give me your opinion.

The difference is simply new revisions of the code in the PCM. The tunes have to be written for each code family. My opinion: your wait is normal. The 03's were supported for many units until very late 03.
