Wheel Alignment

I had a minor front collision two weeks ago and needed the front end aligned. When I took it to Merchants they said I needed new ball joints and radius arm bushings. OK so I did that yesterday while in vacation from work. Took it back this morning and they NOW tell me that I need camber adjusters?? What is this and how hard is it to do. I would assume that I need to pull the ball joints out to do this??. I am pretty irritated that they could not tell me this the first time i had it pulled apart.
What can you guys/gals tell me about this situation. How hard?

Thanks
Chris

I did mine on my d44 ttb. I'm quite sure that they are the same. First you will need to soak them down with rust penetrant for a week or so. The put the truck on stands, and remove wheels and tires. Remonve the nut on to of the ball joint. Then turn it upside down and threadit back on so you can whack the top of the ball joint stud with a big hammer. do that a few time to try and loosen the ball joint from inside the sleeve. Then I used a punch and my mini- sledge underneath the flange on the top of the bushing. Hit on one side for a while, then switch. Then pound on the top of the ball joint again. Repeat procedure untill bushing comes out. It took me about 2 hours per side. I have heard of people using air hammers, and that would probably work good. Before you put the new ones in, clean up the ball joint and hole with sandpaper. Coat all the new bushing parts with anti-seize compound.
