what to do?
I was looking around the internet for cool things to buy. I came across this website called www.4wheelerssupply.com, and they have a 6" lift kit for $755.95.
Now originally I was going to use that money to put in a good sound system in, but now that I see this I find myself cought in between.
If anyone could give me their opinion onwhat they would do if they were in my shoes that would be very helpfull.

Must be nice to have $800 to drop! I have to agree with ALSIAR...don't lift it until you can put new rubber on the road.
But then again...if you put a little into a system, it won't take long to replenish the funds for the lift...and you'll have both
Hmmm...tough one. I'd have to think hard about how much I like more: music OR a lifted ride
I'd go with the tunes...cause i love to feel my music, and it's gotta sound good
I can tell you about my speakers with the top off. I am running Blaupunkt's, really nice speakers if you haven't heard any. When the top is off and I'm on the highway, I have to really crank them to get the volume I want, since all the air noise just cancels out the speakers. Off highway, I can't really tell the difference (other than people being seemily annoyed by the loudness of my vehicle). These speakers have a lot of low end for just door speakers, and I don't seem to loose that bass with the top off, probably because most of that is happening up in the cab.
Now that i think about it..
If you had the subs mounted really secure to the floor and they were forward-facing, you might still get some good bass out of them even with the top off.
I would go to a car audio place and ask them what they think it would be like. Don't go to chain places like Car Toys or Best Buy, they dont know crap. Find some local place, they usually have very knowledgeable people. If you happen to end up in Colorado Springs (I see you are in NM), go to sunshine audio, they know a lot.
