As you may have read I had an 04' superduty that also serves as a massage chair. Are all these problems worked out of these trucks yet so I could buy another without them? Give Ford Another Shot? What are your Thoughts? I like the things I'm hearing about other makes/models but for me, nothin beats the look of the Ford!
I do not know of the history you went through with your truck or how you were treated by Ford. But I selected Ford because of the options avaiable and the look. Most of the other characteristics (towing, fuel economy, etc) were not that much significant to look at the other trucks except maybe the Dodge Cummings Diesel (but they just did not have anything to match the King Ranch).
There were some bad trucks put out but I think the majority of them are OK. At any rate I think the jury is still out about the 05s, I am hoping they fixed what was wrong with the 03s and 04s for the 05 models. I think most of the other changes are not that significant to cause operational problems. If you like the new look it might be worth it.
I could have gone for a DSB buyback or trade in. But I like my truck. I like the way it rides, has great power. The dealership has been good and fixes things in a short time. I will keep the one I got for the moment. If you go on a lot, everyone will drive and handle differently in some way. I'll keep what I got. The devil you know is better than the devil you don't know.
The devil you know is better than the devil you don't know.
While I'll acknowledge the wisdom of that statement, being that I'm going through the DSB process now, I sincerely hope it doesn't always hold the truth.

Will you please keep me posted on how the dsb process goes and what sort of things you have to do?? Dan@Danskagen.com
