flex plate bushing

hello i"m converting a 1968 f 100 from 3 speed to c6
do i need flex plate bushing?

you only need the flex plate. the bushing you are talking about, i think, is the pilot bushing for the standard trans. you will have to remove this bushing, the snout on the torque fits into the back of the crank, right where the bushing is!

sorry never saw one on a ford.

are you talking about the spacer between the motor and bellhousing?

seems to me /talking about something to with crank shaft. have no idea. i bolted fex plate on and it seems fine

ford used no spacer at the cranshaft.

thanks for all your replies, I think Im just going to bolt it(flex plate) to crank see what happens
