Tranny Whine
Hello all. I am new to this and this is the first time I have ever done this. I am a first time Ford truck owner of an '03 F150 Supercrew Lariat. I have noticed in the last week or so that when I am accelerating from a stop there is a whine that starts in second gear but stops when it shifts into 3rd gear. I do work in the auto industry and when one of my clients brings in their cars with a tranny whine, warranty repalces it, no questions. I have just under 15k miles on the truck. There has also been a whine from the rear end when cruising around 75-80 mph but it stops when either accelerating from that speed or I'll let off the gas. Any help or experiences in any of these matters would be very much appreciated.
