P0603 is normal if you have a programmer installed. OR you have disconnected the batteries recently. Its a power loss indicator and nothing to worry about.
Congrats on the engine swap! I do think you need to find a 2002 computer instead of using the 1999 computer. They made a few changes (maybe even some drastic ones) to the 2002 engine and I think thats why it will crank but not start. But thats just my guess. Am I wrong? Right?
I just got my predator and was playing around with it. I ran the diagnostic on my truck and came up with the same code. It will clear but comes back after a couple starts. Worry or not? No ses light or anything. Never would have known about code if not just playing around.
Toreador is right. Unless you have the correct PCM for that engine, it's not gonna work. The P0603 only comes up as stated by 02PSD4ME. Do you have the PCM for the 2002 engine? You're gonna need to get that, find out what the code it for that PCM/Engine combo, and you're probably going to have to get your Predator reset. Ken should be able to help you out with this, or you can call Diablo and get a reset code.
