6.9to7.3
The 7.3 although very similar to the 6.9 as far as looks there is no real way to make it a true I'm sure you can bore it over and use larger diameter pistons,but the heads are different 7.3's use larger diameter head bolts and the cooling jackets on the heads are plugged on the intake side vs open on the 6.9's.You would be better off finding a good used 7.3 or swapping it with Jasper or Fred Jones, both will accept a 6.9 core for a rebuilt 7.3 but either way your gonna dig deep in your pockets!

Thanks for the info . But who is jasper & fred jones! also I'am looking for a little more horses !But if all else fails I just get A DODGE & pull what i want!I all read know they will do what i want, thank you.
