FI to Carb conversion
I have a 79 F150 that has a 89 grand marques engine (302) that was converted from FI to Carb. Its a mess, blowing oil out of the oil stick among other places. Can anyone direct me to information about these conversions, The marques ran like a top the day they pulled the engine (i drove it) So I think it can be salavaged.

The only difference should be from the intake manifold up.
The EFI engine had the PCV valve in the center/rear of the intake manifold. Did you install one in the valvecover? Does it have good vacuum to it?

Sounds like a blowby problem. For some reason it is building up too much pressure in the crankcase. This is usually a piston ring problem. What is in the other valvecover? There should be some kind of filter to filter the air being sucked in by the PCV valve,
