If your wife (not you) is carrying around the entire mid section, ie No Hips, then it's a girl. If she still has hips and looks like she swallowed a very large watermellon whole, then it's a boy.
I had the Hips/Watermelon look. Knew I was having a boy and never did do the ultrasound thing. Jason's soon to be 23.
Carlene I guess it is too soon to tell then she is only 2 months along, but the h2Omelon
idea is true the boys were like h2Omelons after 6mo into the pregnancy. TRAXXIS & MIKE W thanks for the congrats. LIVE LONG AND PROSPER. TURBO TED

What! You had a child when you were 3 years old, or is it that you have just aged gracefully? Here I was, worrying that you not old enough to be my VP.

Quote: "Have both Grandfather's been honoured yet?"
Good idea. My son's grandfathers were both named John and I always liked Patrick so we named him John Patrick. He has always been called Patrick and would not turn around if one yelled John. When he was about 4, I called him "Little Buddy" one day. He put his hands on his hips and said, "I am not a little buddy, I am a BIG buddy. Since that day I have called him "Big Buddy".

Yes both grandparents have been honered at this point in time, and Mil1ion
I must complement you on your choice of names & we have used BRANDON LEE as our third sons name but the LORD wanted our little angel BRANDON
back 4 years ago. On boy names I like GABRIEL _?_?_? but am stuck on the middle name so far & my wife says she does not like the name, so I told her I
will give him his name after you ZONK out & then it will be too late he he he.
And the girl names are just so hard for me to come up with!

I went out in the country and practiced several different names by yelling them. Thought I might have to (yell at the kid) at some time and wanted the name to sound like it had some cadence to it, just in case some one heard me. Yes I know its goofy, but you never know... Turned out they are both good kids and I never had to yell at them much. Never spanked them much either cause I spanked them when they were little. Get your bluff in early... Now I just have to go to assemblies and watch them receive honors for academic excellence. Makes you wonder if maybe the early discipline paid off.
dono - I guess I've aged gracefully cause I sure didn't have my boy when I was 3, more like when I was 23. So, does this mean that I'm too old to be your running mate now?????????
Ted - My take on your wife's opinion to the name of Gabriel was that she doesn't like it. I'd have to give her a big 10-4 on that and agree. Although 66Ranger's theory works with hollering "Gabe" out in them there fields, which I like, Gabriel just doesn't work for me. Maybe when you're in there helping her while she's having one of those good contractions, she can let you know how she feels by pulling your tongue over the top of your head and after you pass out from the pain, she can give your child a name she likes. (hehehehe)
You gotta love getting the woman's opinion too.
Congrats and good luck with your new little boy or girl. I'm sure which ever you have, it will be just as loved.
Congratulations on your ... er ... uh ... what am I congratulating you for? Oh yeah. Congratulations on your impending 3rd crack at the bat. Ha ha.
Uh, well, I would say if it's a boy again, Joseph would be a good one. It can be shortened down to "Joe." As for girl's names, well, I can't help you there. My wife and I are trying to figure some out in advance. (Nope, still not pregnant.)
Carlene; The mothers opinion is highly respected for this procedure, and how did you
know what she had done to me during the birth of SEAN our second son? 66ranger I
have followed in the same foot steps in the discipline dept & hey my boys are great.
Again thanks to all for the kind input. LIVE LONG AND PROSPER. .TURBO TED
I like 66ranger's approach too. When I was thinking up names for my boys, I pictured in my mind what they would sound like as a woman was saying it in ecstasy.
