Spoke with the Truck Service Manager @ Prestige Ford In Garland, TX yesterday via landline to discuss possible A/C issue. He immediately started with Ford spec conditions being rated at idle etc. and was enroute to blowing me off.
He then stated to bring it in and they would test @ idle (approx. 800 RPM) with temp gauge in the tunnel. I told him I had a gauge in the tunnel for the last two weeks and the told him the variance.
Still not much respect until I mentioned that I had ton of info regarding fixes and Ford bullitens from FTE Forum.
Man...it was like night turning into day...all of a sudden I had some distinct level of intelligence and we became best buds. He can't wait for me to bring it in and probably increase fan engagement. Hallelujah!

FYI: For DFW folks...I asked how many certified diesel mechanics they have on staff. (4) now with (2) more to be certified by the end of June.
In addition, I have had my last (5) Ford gassers serviced there with good results, even though most of my deals came from other local dealerships.
