mine is 2 wheel drive and I haven't been able to peddle it out of the hole yet. The first run on boost I smoked em the entire 1/8 mile! I think I ran a 9.9 at 77.something. Adams beat me but I did beat a hot rod chevy truck. He beat me out of the hole but I hauled him down on the big end.
I think these trucks (and turbo cars too) do better on 1/4 mile tracks because they really start cranking on the big end

You might be able to do it if the surface is slick enough. You graduating? If so, congratulations!

You seem really bright. Another year won't be long enough for all the stuff you need to cram in so you don't miss anything. Enjoy this summer and your last fairly easy year. Also, a piece of advice if I may, mistakes made now are not disasters so don't make too much of them. There will be plenty of others telling you about opportunities. You are much more likely to remember mine at an important moment.

Edge set on 5(115hp)
Open exhaust if you dont have and exhaust( the temps get up there quick on the 115hp setting)
Take out your air filter(only for your runs) or replace it with a high flow
Launch it in 4x4 if you have it ( lock your hubs!!) power break it and build up about 12psi of boost when the light turns green HOLD ON!!!!
The truck should run in the low 14's depending on altitude and air temp when i got my 13.7 it was in the 60's and low humidity, in FL. But in the hot air i still ran 14 flats.
The 13.7 was my best run that night but i ran consistant 13.9 the rest of that night.

Hope this helps
What was your MPH on the 13.7 run?

Another year just seems too long. Maybe it will go by quicker than I expected. For a graduation present im trying to talk my parents into letting me send my truck to Ken at Diesel Performance Specialists for the 700+ RWHP 6.0 Twin Turbo rebuild...I might be able to pull it off if I can get accepted to GT. Until then, maybe the SCMT, turboback, and alchohol injection system (still waiting on that one) will do And, yes i meant you. Didnt know there was another Bob in here, sorry bout that.

I didn't get an e-mail, try again.
Try the Superchips or Predator tuner, exhaust, K&N FIPK (worth 20+hp) This will set them back less than $1,000 if you get it form Motorhaven and will net you(if you choose the Predator) 400 HP and 750 ft lb of torque. Mine made 387 and 728 with stock exhaust and a split turbo hose that bled off all boost above 19 lbs. When you learn to drive this and keep yourself safe, then try the monster motor. Let me know if I can help.

Dunno what happened to the email? I already have the SCMT and turbo back (dont have the exhaust on yet, waiting on time to install it) Just wondering where you got your K+N FIPK. Motorhaven told me they dont carry them, and said nothing about being able to order it. Also, how is the sound of the box? Ive noticed that the MAC's and airaids have a nice low-pitched growl at idle. My water/alchohol kit should arrive from Ken next week, hoping to net 80 rwhp out of it on top of the rest.

The K&N FIPK has that low growel and really screams at high RPM. It's BIG, as big as the stock air cleaner. It has a larger than stock mass air and inlet tube that is smooth and has to be at least the difference in the power. If Motorhaven can't order one, e-mail me and I will give you the phone number of the truck shop where I got mine. They will mail one to you.
I'm interested in how the water/alchohol kit works. If they have a web page, post it so we can check it out. Also, let us know how it goes on.
We used to water inject cars years ago until the NHRA made it illegal. It worked for small HP gains on gas cars.

The water injection is from Ken Englesman at Diesel Performance Specialists. The system is rated at 45HP/110TQ on straight water, 90HP/190TQ on 50/50 water/methanol. Shouldnt be too far from you, its down there in Texas. Heres the link www.dieselperformancespecialistsinc.com They can also rebuild the 6.0 with ceramic coated pistons, studded and c-ringed heads, and twin turbo with nearly 120 lbs of boost. Full engine and transmission rebuild for 700+ HP for less than 10 grand. If you have the money, its really not a bad buy. They also said the motor will retain nearly 20 mpg on the highway too.
Yes, please email me the number, I would appreciate it. I'm not sure what happened to my last email.

PS the water injection lowers your EGT's 300 degrees on top of all the extra power, so now i will be able to double stack my SCMT with a 175 horse quadzilla race box. God save my transmission.

Thanks for the info. I just spent the last 15 minutes turning my office upside down looking for the card with the number on it. I will have to drive downtown tomorrow anyway so I'll stop in and get it for you.

Alright, I appreciate your help. Ill update you guys on the injection kit when it comes, should ship by friday. Ken at DPS custom builds all his kits HIMSELF, and when you call you get to talk to HIM directly. He is a very helpful person, he spent a good half hour on the phone explaining the system to me and even gave me advice on installing my turboback, I didnt even buy it from him. If you cant find a product at motorhaven, give him a call.
