edelbrock sp p-2 intake

Anyone have any experience with this intake on a 351m-400? I was told by edelbrock It came out in the 70's during the opec crisis and is mainly for fuel economy and performance up to 4,400 rpm. They are a dual plane with smaller diameter intake runners.

for low end torque, not a high HP application. it would provide good carb signal when running highway gears, the 4bbl carb flange is an oxy-moron

They were not a horribly successful manifold design.
