there are tons of choices, from factory, to factory style, hoop steps, complete tube bars. Look throught the site sponsors to see anything you like, and through the gallaries for installed pics. see somethign you like? then ask the owner if they would do it again.
Good choice truck and welcome! I've enjoyed my GoRhino wheel to wheel tubular (3) steps, but I see you have the extended cab. I'm sure they make a variation to suit your needs. You could checkout gorhino.com or do a search. Mine were $448 shipped almost 2 years ago and bolt on to factory holes in the frame.

Thanks for the info and the great comments. I really love this thing. Diesel gas is about 30 cents a gallon less here in chicago. I have over 200 miles on the tank and the needle is only half-way. The power is incredible, I love the sound of Diesel. The only thing is you have to turn up the volume on the radio to really hear it over the engine.
How 'bout when you're trying to go through a drive-thru. That diesel engine makes the speaker sound like the teacher from Charlie Brown. I can't hear a damn thing.
Welcome aboard, Baby Semi!
I've been happy with the Westin side step I have on mine. I got the black (because my truck is dark grey). It is not fading at all, it cleans & polishes up very easily, and the install was simple.
Lots of brands to choose from Smitybilt, Westin, and others that have probably already been mentioned in reply's. Basically, decide what style (how many steps per side? black? chrome? stainless?) then go shopping.
I'm starting to lean towards oem side bars, but I don't know yet. The drive-thru thing is so funny. I have the truck for little over a week, and I don't drive it often, but I went to the drive-thru twice and twice they didn't hear my order right. I do love that sound though.
