Another good reason to get a diesel is it will show all them grennpeace treehuggin fools what we think about them. i love pulling up to those new honda insight hybrid cars and rev the motor to the moon, sayin, "look i make enough pollution for the both of us!" go diesel and go ford

iknowitall. You obviously don't know it all! True the powerstroke has more pulling power, gets more mpg and last longer. But as gas engines go the 6.8 V10 is very efficient for the amount of power it has (which is a lot). It definitely gets more mpg than the 460 and is more powerful. If you use your truck for heavy pulling or put a lot of miles on it get the diesel. If you put no more than 35000-40000 miles on it per year and only pull occasionally I suggest the V10.
