Two of the eight on one rear hub have damaged threads. Can I run a die over them (in place) or do I have to remove the hub and bang them out? TIA.

Thanks for the reply. I'm trying to avoid the r&r of the axle, hub, and seal. The problem, as I see it, is that a conventional T-handle die tool will not turn past the hub. I think I'm contemplating a tool which might resemble a die inside a deep socket. Does such a thing exist?
