airaid intake

does anyone else have an airaid intake i installed one last week and my check engine light has come on twice i cant figure this out everything appears to be hooked up correctly i took the neg terminal off the battery for two min the first time and that worked for a week ????????????

Make sure the rubber O-Ring around the throttle body is sealed, it can be a bear to get it all the way down, I used a little oil on O-Ring and pry bar to push down on tube to seal Tightly, make sure the notch is in the right spot, should be pointed toward drivers side. Also give the computor time to adjust to the larger amounts of air it has to process. Good luck

I installed an Airaid and had no problems. I did ensure the oring was in place and wash out the intake tube prior to installation. There was a lot of dust/release agent on the inside.

Like tdbb said, wait for the the computer to adjust. My check engine light came on about 3 times. I left the check engine light on for about a week on the third time and it turned back off on it's own.
