fuel pump
I just tried to turn my pump down and found something interesting, when I pull the plate off it seemed to pour out what smelt like gasoline. I remember about a year ago the gas station put in gas instead of diesel and I found out 3 KM later when the pining and knocking started and then I looked at the reciept and it said gas. I dumped the tank purged the lines and started it up. No problems. I't been smoking on hard accelerations lately and I was going to turn down the pump. I swear to god that it was alittle oily like diesel but smelt like gas. Any ideas if the pump could have a fuel lock with gas and not purge itself with diesel? Comments please.
