Winch bumper

I'm looking into getting a winch and winch bumper. I'd like something that looks good but is also strong. I don't want something utilitarian and like you'd have on a beater truck. I like this one but without the brush guard,

But its really on the expensive side...

As far as the winch, what size do ya think I should get for a truck as big as mine? Any particular models you recommend? I don't need one thats like competition style so I don't care about speed, just decent quality. My budget is getting a little thin so I can't afford the 1500 winch and bumper combo.

I like the Warn stuff. I say go with a Warn enforcer bumper and a M12000 winch.

good luck. you are looking at $300 for the bumper and about $800 for the winch.

it may not look pretty but my home made front bumper is stronger than any of the winch bumpers out on the market today, it cost me $8 (for 10lbs of E7018), and i am not afriad to trim or drill for accessories should i see the need.

what kind of wheelin do you do that will determine your winch and size! for your truck any 8K lb winch will be just fine with a ****** block and rigging accessories. I myself am gonna go with a MileMarker 15000lb hydro winch b/c I have never stalled out in the mud and if I do I will call Ho to haul my butt out. MileMarker and Warn are the winch market standards of today. Warn's electric winches are top notch and milemarkers hydros are unbeatable (in fact they use them on thew front of military hummers).

i run a mm 9000lb electric on my rig and haven't had problems. i would recomend the mm e12000 just because they are close in price and you never have to worry about problems with 12000lbs of pulling power

and make your own bumper or get a used one. those new warns are just raping you in price it's retarded.

I have the warn on my 94, check it out in my gallery.

One of the heavy duty bumpers out there that isent cheap, but it is a really nice unit is the Reunell.
