seat swap
I hope someone may be able to shed some light on my question. I have a bench seat in my 350. I want buckets or a split bench. I have been to salvage yards all over and can't find any. I do not want to pay E-bay ship price. Anyway, to get to the point, I have measured the F-150 seats and they seem to be the same size, same bracket angle and the holes seem to line up to the floor pan. I went to the dealership and they cross referenced the part # and said they did not match. I dont trust the dealership.
Will F-150 seats fit it superduties????? I would like to know forsure without ripping out my seats and paying for new ones to put in.

I know only this. I removed my 04 F250 bench seat and tried to install it in 96 F150 and it was a no go without some mods. In my 04, I installed Flexsteel buckets with virtually no mods. I left in side brackets of bench seat where they bolt to floor. I then bolted in 2 pcs. 1" angle iron across floor from left seat bracket to right seat bracket. Seats were then bolted to angle iron. Total time was about 2-3 hrs. including removal of bench seat. Ford buckets would have also bolted to this framework. Console is easy to mount also.

Bought my Flexsteel Capts. chairs from vehiclespecialty.com in Oregon and took delivery in Vancouver, Washington. NICE seats, although not cheap, but worth it to me. Heated, air lumbar and leather.
