Customer service number
I need help. I took my 98 Explorer to the dealer. Making lots of noise. Found out it was the chain tensioners. Had the motor replaced at 51,000 for a similar problem. Service writer told me it would be covered this time under a 7yr - 100,000 mile warranty. Later in the day he called back and said they would not cover it. That the motor looked like it wasnt serviced properly and that was the cause of the tensioner failure. I am getting no where with them. Is there a 800 number I can call and possibly get somewhere? Any help is appreciated.
