79 351m power ?

Right now I have a stock 351 m in my f250.

The only thing I have did is open air breather and true duels with 1 chamber flowmasters sidepipe exhaust. Very free flowing I say.

I have takin the egr off allso. Am thinking of adding some long tube headers and a duel plane intake with say a 600 cfm 4 barrel. How much power would I but looking at gaining. I haveing my guy do all the tuneing and stuff allso. Thanks

Before I rebuilt my 400, the first modification I did was strap on an Edelbrock Performer intake and an Edelbrock 600 CFM four barrel. It was by far the biggest gain in performance from any changes I made to my LTD. The rebuild, boring out, cam, etc. I subsequently did was significant as well, but on a pure cost vs. performance basis, the intake and carb made a huge difference. Some of the guys with desktop dynos could give you exact hp and torque numbers you might expect with various intakes and carbs. After I added the intake and carb, my gas mileage pretty much stayed the same if I kept my foot out of it, and as you can imagine, if I put my foot into it, it made beautiful music and sucked my fuel tank to empty at a rapid rate.
