I have heard that an after market power pack can be added to factory turbo units. Anyone have any info on this? Also, what mods if any can be done to factory exhaust? I have a '93 7.3 factory turbo diesel.

It is available for all Navistar engined vehicles, as well as the Ford diesel.
I have the system, and have 80,000 miles with it - no problems so far. I have had the entire mechanicals worked, and get 340hp with 660lb ft torque, on an '96 F 450, Custom 4x4 Crewcab Flatbed, with aux tranny, and increased suspension.
banks makes a darn good turbo for ford diesel engines. they are said to be the best for fords. i dont got one but know many people who do and are very happy with them. they also sound real nice with a soft whistle sound that just makes the truck sound like it has power. their website has lots of good information. www.bankspower.com
Banks is definitely the way to go. They make an excelent PowerPack system. It will give your truck +120 horses and +256 torque. It will cost about $3500.
