Looking for Advice
<HR style="COLOR: #666666" SIZE=1><!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->I just purchased a 04' Powerstroke, 4x4, LARIAT. I'm hearing what appears to be a slight rubbing sound when steering primarily to the right when taking off. Has anyone else experienced this or can give insight into possible causes. The truck is the first FORD I have ever owned, and I hope this isn't the start of a long list of squeaks, rubs and rattles. Any advice.
Do you have stock tires? Mine started rubbing the plastic piece under the bumper after I put bigger tires on. I just trimmed 1/2 inch off both sides and it quit rubbing unless I hit a major bump while turning.
