I have a DELTA aluminum toolbox in back of my F150 which went thru a long winter of salt and sand......doesn't shine like it used to.
Is there a good product for cleaning\shining these, or just soap & water?

 

There is a lot of products made for cleaning aluminum that you can find in almost any automobile store. Look in the wax/tire section, get something from your favorite manufacturer for cleaning aluminum rims and it should do a good job of cleaning your toolbox as well.

 

Mothers makes a great aluminum polish just for toolboxes, if you choose to use this kind though be prefared it'll tkae a while but when you get done it looks like new!

 

Spent about 7 hours Sunday cleaning my tool box, bed and tail gate caps. I used Never Dull wadding pads first to get the oxidation off and come back with Blue Magic Metal Polish and polished everthing. Took a bit of effort but looks Great.
