Windshield Wipers problem.
I have a 1982 F-150, what the problem is that, when I turned on the wipers, there was three setting and now to turn them off i have to have the **** between settings to stop them. This is draining my battery. This is the first older truck i have owned and can't figure out how to turn them off properly. Any help would be appriated.

I have the same problem. Luckily I have an 84 donor truck to get the switch out of to replace the one in my 82 (and the 84's is intermittent). Go to a junkyard and pull one off a similar truck and replace yours. If you go new (LMC truck for example), the switches list $50 for ones with intermittent, $25 for without. I bet a junkyard'll be something like $5-$10.
