Torque specs for Font Hubs
I have a 89 F350 4x4 with a 7.3L. I recently chnaged the fornt brake rotors. I have the Dana 60 Monobeam front. When reassembling the hubs I used the Haynes spec for tightening the bearing retaining nut to 50 ft.lbs and backing off 90 degrees. Is this precedure / spec accurate? My wheels are making noise, and I am wondering if maybe the bearings are too loose. Can anyone offer any other specs?Thanks for any help.
