im geting a a 1978 f250 ranger but the brakes are locked on it... i just need to get it home but its just a junker i just need the engine out of it.... but the rear is drum and front is disk... is there anythign i can do to unlock them..... im going to tow it home with a tow bar
You can compress the calipers on front with pry bar. But be careful not to break/crack the rotors - unless they're bad anyway.
On the back, they're probably just labor-bound. If you can hook to it and pull it a few feet they may free up. If not you could remove the adjusting slot plug and spray some WD40 in there and wait until it has time to soak in, then pull the truck to free them.
